HOW TO GUIDE
Tutorials, tips, and even some ideas to explore alone or with a partner.
Diet + Supplements
STEP ONE: PLAN AHEAD
- While a full dietary/lifestyle shift is encouraged, it’s what you consume in the last 24 hours that often makes the biggest difference.
- Over time, you’ll start to understand your body better—learning when you’re “Lana-ready” and, just as important, when to take a pass.
The Morning Of
- Fiber: Take a safe but slightly larger amount of both insoluble and soluble fiber supplements (we, of course, love OURS!).
- Hydration: Drink more water than usual throughout the day.
- Avoid: Fried, high-carb, or sugary foods unless you counterbalance with extra fiber and water.
- Designate Time: Set aside at least 30 minutes to fully prepare.
pro tip
Fast 12 hours before “Lana time.”
SUPPLEMENT GUIDE
Gentle Cleansing
STEP TWO: PROPER CLEANING
The colon wasn’t naturally designed for this type of interaction, so proper cleansing is key. It’s also quite sensitive, so we recommend taking prebiotics to promote colon health.
For more detailed guidance, check out our TMI Guide (LINK), covering what to look for and a test to know you’re “ready.”
After a Successful Bowel Movement
- Douching: Many use disposable douches, but avoid the saline solution they come with; instead, use room temperature water or slightly warmer water—never hot!
- Reusable Option: If you’re serious about this lifestyle, consider a reusable option—our top recommendation is [LINK].
- Alternative: A squeezable 12 oz. water bottle can also work in a pinch.
Important Notes
- Lubricate the Tip: Vaseline works well to pre-lubricate the tip.
- Avoid Too Much Water: Overfilling could lead to an unplanned release during “Lana time.”
